During the year 1915, Arthur attended the University of Michigan. Arthur Miller moved back east to write plays such as “Death Of A Salesman” and “The Crucible”. In 1949 Arthur Miller won the Pulitzer prize and a few Tony awards. He married the Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe who was a major figure in the sex world. Arthur Miller dies in 2005 at age 89.

2017 The author of this text explains how the salem witchcraft trials is the biggest example of hysteria. The author also talks about The Devil in the Shape of a Woman. The author explains that the book was about a widow who was hung for witchcraft, the only thing is the big witchcraft hysteria did not come about until 16 years later from this event. The author here is trying to give example of witchcraft that took place before the trials to prove it has been around for a long time.
Also, the author of this article illustrates other events of witchcraft that were before the salem witch trials, such as in Connecticut there were the same events happening during the Salem witch trials, convictions were held, but there were no executions. Lastly, the author explains why three women were tried for witchcraft. The three women were Sarah Good, Sarah Osborne, and Tituba, for witch practice. The town girls went into the woods with Tituba and Tituba was tried for witchcraft because they tried to see their future on a crystal ball.
