I, for one, agree with all of their points. Firstly, as hilarious as “The African-American Wallet Exchange” is, it does raise a grim point about police brutality. Using techniques such as exaggeration, black comedy, and logical endpoints, the video effectively paints the police in a negative light in a Horatian manner, whether they were lying about their mistake or not. The joke about the fake bullet holes was particularly dark.
Similarly, “The Danger of a Single Story” is a great talk about how we can see aspects of the world wrong if we only hear a single story. The dominance of this story pushes other voices out of the discussion, harming the conversation people can have. We should not let one story dominate the view of a group of people, or indeed of anything. Ignoring the fact that doing so can cause your view to be incomplete, especially if said story is bad, I think that it can just be plain
