THÈ ĒÑTRŸ. “The Last Dragonslayer” by Jasper Fforde is a story for kids and adults who like fantasy and mystery. The main message in the text is to not trust anyone at all. The story mostly takes place with things that mostly has to do with Maltcassion. One day, Jennifer decides to cross the dragonlands to meet the Duke of Brecon. The Duke of Brecon’s plan is to just defend his city with defences around the border. The Duke of Brecon told Jennifer that he does not plan to make a move in the dragonlands. A day later, Jennifer is called to inspect a ConStuff truck that lay upended in a field half engulfed with flames, and talon marks on the side. Detective Norton thinks that the truck is proof of a dragon attack. Jennifer told Detective Norton
