Summary Of The Movie 'Unbroken'

Louie’s life started out, troubled, but what got him out of it was running. In the movie for Unbroken they only skim past the running part of his life. The movie shows that he was falling behind in the Olympic race, but by the end of it, he speeds up and becomes the first American to cross the finish line in that race. Louie would have never been the runner, he was without Pete because Pete wanted to find a way for Louie to stop stealing and fighting. On page thirteen it says, “If Louie were recognized for doing something right, Pete argued, he’d turn his life around,” and once he won his first race he was determined to win each race he was in.
