Summary Of The Novel 'The Outsiders' By S. E. Hinton

For my unit 4 novel I read The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton it takes place in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1965. It is told in the first person narrative by PonyBoy Curtis. The main characters of the outsiders are PonyBoy, Johnny, Dally, Darry, and Sodapop. Both groups of boys such as the greaser (the main characters and more) and the Socs, the Socs are apart of the conflict. I personally like this book because of PonyBoy’s perspective on everybody, as him being the narrator and the way he thinks would have been different if another person like Darry or Two-Bit narrated this book.
