In the United States, most of the people I have seen and recognized as TCK’s are normally not poor, but it is not like they don’t have financial worries, to not have financial worries, means to be rich or almost rich. Many people have lower income, but they still learn to fit in and become successful. It is true that TCK’s are most likely to develop a nonconformist behavior, and they can relate easily with most of the people of the 3 different cultures, I agree with this
