Our founding father’s opinion was clear, by stating that without wisdom or liberty, we as a society would crumble. A.I. has become prominent in the most recent decade, while our founding fathers wrote the constitution in the 1700s. The revolutionary minds that started the U.S. could not have taken into account the impact artificial intelligence would have today. However, we can understand their opinions when it comes to the importance of freedom of thought and speech, by using handwritten documents that express their beliefs. Thomas Jefferson's Bill for Establishing Religious Freedom obtains a clear picture of the views of our founding fathers. “Free speech is necessary for the discovery of truth and the rejection of falsehood.” This statement directly relates to the use of defamation and libel laws because it speaks of removing untruthful arguments. This is an assessment of when people use A.I. for academic, political, and social gain. When individuals start to rely on the ideas of a computer to further their mind, it creates an unjust system of ideas that are not one's own. In addition, the human mind is one of the strongest weapons on Earth. However, it becomes hindered when one depends on the social interpretations of A.I, because it limits your own ability to think freely. Individuals are losing their own creative will with the use of A.I. This in turn promotes the idea of falsehoods.
