Some people in their cultures believe that they exist and some on the other hand do not. It also depends on your religion and what you believe in. They were different forms of religion when it came to this movie, for example the maid/servant for the possessed girls had and practiced a totally different religion then what the rest of the household believed in. Other different families I’m sure had other views as well, not everyone would believe in the same thing. Also when the girls would have their fits they would point and scream, sometimes they would even yell that the devil is attached to the person they are trying to accuse for being a witch. Following that, since no one else is supposed to be able to see “the devil” besides the girls, then how is anyone supposed to know if the girls are being honest or not? There is no well to tell. In some ways you can easily say that there isn’t enough evidence being brought upon with the girls, since there is nothing you can physically see, other then when they have their fits, which easily could have been staged.
