The poem “To This Day” by Shane Koyczan, It summarizes that people are cruel sometimes and they can't see everything and they can't live the life that some kids live and how bullying is pushed out of the way and it affects kids for their whole life. A girl is made fun of because people say “kids used to say she looks like a wrong answer that someone tried to erase but couldn’t quite get the job done.” There making fun of her and they don't realize it can hurt her feelings because she has a birthmark on her face and she can't control that and she is born with that mark on her face so she does not deserve to be treated like that.
