Kiyam Gopal Singh, Hemam Ibohal Singh and M. Koireng Singh of Moirang : These are men of Moirang village. During evacuation of Moirang village, these people were staying at Thanga Basti. From private information it is learnt that Gopal Singh gave foodstuff to the enemy at the first instance and also gave every possible assistance within his means. Ibohal Singh became a contractor who used to supply rice to the Japs and also let out his house to Jap as godown. Thongam Munal Singh saw him supplying food stuff to the enemy. M. Koireng Singh is the only English and Urdu speaking man at Moirang. He was employed by the Jap as interpreter. Amu mia brother of Quazi Wali Ulla, Darbar Member also brother of Naki Ahmad in his statement stated that Koireng Singh took him to Moirang bazaar to Naki Ahmad, who again introduced to Col. Malik. Since the Jap evacuated Moirang area these three men also disappeared from Thanga. Military F.S.S. with Civil Police raided their houses as soon as enemy had cleared Moirang, but no trace of them could be found. It is rumored that they have been concealing themselves in some hill area near Wangoo but so far the probable report could not be ascertained. Hope this may be done in near future.
