The sense of failure came from my incident that happened in a hot july summer during football practice.We were working on some drills to pass the defender in front of you and beyond that.I had went through the drill three times ,and I felt ecstatic.When it was my turn again for my fourth rep I lined up against my opponent and the other defender behind him.When coach blew the whistle
I had used a technique to go through the first man called a swim move and once I passed him I went to the second man. I had set myself my and rushed to hit the the second defender and once he was on the ground I had lost my balance from leaning forward to hit the second defender. I had tried to catch myself from falling with my right arm but it didn't work as planned and I had dislocated my elbow. My bone from the elbow had moved up my arm which made my arm look like a leg. At that moment ,I was on the ground holding my arm because i didn’t know what else to do.When it happened I didn’t feel the pain in my arm until the trainer came over and moved it. I went to the ER and it took the doctors 3 times to get it back in place ,and I was at the hospital for 6 hours. After that I was in a cast for 3 weeks and had to go to therapy for 2 months. …show more content…
Then worked my tail off just so I could improve myself to play on the field, but that accident interfered with my life. I couldn’t write a sentence or even my name at the time because the nerves in my arm would just shoot up a sharp pain all the way to my hand. It took me some time but with the help of my family,friends,teammates,coaches, and just me not giving up on myself, I was able to make it through that
