In “Someone to Watch Over Me (On a Google Map)”, Theodora Stites first stated that she’s like many of her generation, every day in her life was occupied with social networking sites and communication devices. Stites spent most of her time online to creep on peers lives and their location. She was part of about ten communities, for the reason that “each one enables her to connect to people with different levels of social intimacy”, she used them based on the various levels of friendship. In this article, Stites introduced and illustrated the pleasure of indulging in many kinds of social networks, she connects with people online and thinks it is an easier approach to dating and finding friends than face to face. Although I think the author was too addicted to the social networks, I agreed that people these day become detached, for we’re too dependent on internet and technology.
