Summary: The Gender Pay Gap
At the present time, women represent the majority of people living in poverty around the world. The United States has 65th place in the ranking of wage equality. It is possible that this situation will be changed in the nearest future and more efforts will be done to eliminate the gender pay gap.
According to Kasperkevic, women earn $0.77 for every dollar that a company is paying to men for the same job at the current time (Kasperkevic, 2015).
Many experts agree that there is a significant gender wage gap exists. Countries with greater gender equality tend to have a smaller pay gap as well as less wealth inequality overall. The gender pay gap indicates that we are far from an equal ideal society and that there are a lot of things to be improved.
