I understand this concept most by reviewing paragraph 26 which states, many parts of the brain are involved in processing sarcasm. Coincidentally, I would suppose men and women use and interpret sardonic terms differentially given the psychological/neurological differences in the sexes.

Considering the fact, I know all to well the adverse effects of a poke I suppose I am only as sarcastic as I need to be in a giving situation. Sarcasm tends to be a double-edged sword if not used wisely. Consequently, unless otherwise provoked defensively I tend to use it most with those I love, teasingly, but even then, sometimes, it bites back. I can thank my father for this lovely quality.
