The Vargas family over a period of eight sessions held for eight weeks has been facing several issues within their family both nuclear and the extended family. The relationship between Bob and Elizabeth has significantly improved by the fact that both parties have apologized to one another for their actions. During the last session, Bob acknowledges the value of his wife Elizabeth and says he had been taking her for granted. He also appreciates and admires Katie’s strength despite the emotional problems she was undergoing after the loss of her husband and the situation involving her son, Geoff. The family seems to be taking shape as Bob tells off his parents with an aim to bring down the increasing strife that was brewing. His wife, Elizabeth supports him and terms this as bravery despite his parents, Tim and Linda, being upset.
