In the book The Watcher by James Howe the impact of Chris, Evan and Margaret intersection helps them move forward multiple ways. In general people's lives can intersect different ways as well such as tragedy, by chance, by sports teams or schools etc. The way that Chris and the watchers lives intersect is when the watchers family rented a cottage at the beach. The Watcher we found out later in the book that her name is Margaret. Margaret would sit on the beach all day and watch Chris. Margaret learns from these boys by watching them on the beach. The first time that Chris and Evan notice each other is when Chris is life guarding on the beach and Evan calls, “Come swim with me!” (17) to Callie. “ He watched the boy pull the girl out of her mermaid cast, then grab a Boogie board and run to the water.” (17) Chris asked what was up with the girl, Jenny says, “She likes mermaids, I guess” (17) but really Chris was talking about the Watcher, wondering why she just sits on the stairs at the beach and …show more content…
My parents have impacted my growth with education, they always push me out of my comfort zone and encourage me to try new things. Another way they have impacted my growth is taking me on trips and experiencing new cultures. My parents have given me the skills to have a great self confidence. There’s not one particular person that I can pick who I have learned from the most I have learned lots from my entire family. Every member in my family has taught and supported me in some way during my life.
