“I am not too sure, but I know I plan to pass my placement test for sure by writing good essays like I always do” I said. I honestly did not expect to have to work hard in my writing class until the second day in Dr Harkins-Pierre’s class. On my first day, I had to construct a narrative essay based on the day I came in second place for a modeling competition. It consisted of a prewrite containing a cluster chart as well as an outline. I used the outline as a guide throughout my essay and successfully completed my narrative-at least I thought I did. On the second day, I received my paper and I was shocked by my grade. My seventy made me realize what I had to do. That was probably the reason to why I had writers block every so often. In Dr PHP’s class, I struggled at making them. It would have taken me at least fifteen minutes to create a basic cluster chart and that was bad timing. I needed to fix this and so I did thanks to Dr. PHP. My favorite teacher taught me and my class how to generate ideas for a cluster chart by assigning us different topics that taught us how to make a correct chart.
