college-prep school and there is a select handful of teachers I owe everything to. They took me in, helped me, and most importantly, never gave up on me. They believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. Summit is a major reason I attend college. Summit opened the door of possibility.
I want to live a successful life.
I want to be happy, to help others, and to make a positive impact on others. I would love to be a motivational speaker because it's easier to change a person’s life with your personal stories and words, rather than forcing them to do things. I want to tell troubled teenagers and kids that it's never too late; you can be something in life despite what you've been through or what others may think, say, and feel about you. That's my biggest goal in life, to give others the same opportunity I was given. To show that second chances are real. I would also love to be an Athletic Trainer or Firefighter. Regardless of the path I take, I know that whatever I do in life, I will make a difference. I feel like with me being an Athletic Trainer I can give an athlete a second chance at the respected sport they love. I could also inspire people to do more than just play the sport they love; I could inspire them to go out and make a difference. Being a Firefighter I could save lives. I would play a key role in the community, giving back more than I
receive.
"There is more happiness in giving than in receiving." At the end of the day I don’t want fame, glory, or riches. I would like to die knowing I gave all I could, helped as many people as possible, and to know that I had the power to change lives. We all need a superhero; my cape is pressed and ready.
