Introduction: The situation of two brothers raised in the same environment could be ending in a very different road. In his story, Sonny's Blues, James Baldwin serves Adler's theory superiority\ inferiority complex to describe the characters and their relationships to each other. In this song he said and explained what he couldn’t express in just words. The words this song told why he chose this way. Why he addicted drugs. This song was impressive. The narrator got it and understood what behind the lines it is a sign of regret. A sign of a new start a sign of change. It was a decision to change and replace the life of inferiority with a better life. Sonny's playing was the first sign of a new life, superior life. He succeeded in the urgent time, the time he decided to change. He was greatly successful. His brother got the message and this showed how clever and sincere Sonny was. The effect of his playing had its results quickly. We found the narrator willingness to forgive and help his brother.
The scene of Sonny playing his music was memorable. He carried all his pains and sufferings and attached them to people in the club and to his brother, when the narrator heard sonny playing his "blues" he realized that those blues were man made blues.
