I do agree that it is remarkable for Bruce Wayne to do what he does, but take away the gadgets, vehicles, and money; he is nothing. Deplete Bruce Wayne’s money, and he would not have any useful resources/supplies. This makes his hero status, useless. Superman, on the other hand, does not need a vehicle, money or gadgets. He can get from place to place in the blink of an eye. Superman is faster than a speeding bullet, and faster than the speed of light. He is so fast that; he can spin the world in the reverse direction and to rewind time.
Both hero’s have a code they live by, and they change/differ from our laws’ expectations. Batman’s code of ethics are “does what needs to be done, kill if need be, and he doesn’t have to answer to no one.” On the other hand, Superman lives by a code his earth father taught him very young and that is, “you decide what kind of man you want to grow into, because whoever that man is, will change the world.” It also has been a supportive ethic/code that Clark’s father of Krypton agrees with.
