Supernaturalism Analysis
The Government is sly and deceitful. The supernaturalists were fighting for the wrong side all this time. This special group of kids were able to go beyond the human limits. Cosmo the protagonist of The Supernaturalists by Eoin Colfer and I are similar. We both share the same view of the world, are viewed by the world in similar ways and I would also respond to the central conflict in a comparable way. Therefore, I believe given the chance, we could be friends. Cosmo of The supernaturalists never puts the world down; he has had more of a consequential way of living, in imprisonment. The only thing Cosmo had ever wanted to do was escape Clarissa Frayne Orphanage for parentally challenged kids. He believes nothing can be worse than being himself everyday at Clarissa. ¨And anywhere was better than the Clarissa Frayne institute for the parentally challenged¨ (31). Cosmo sees it as a mysterious and shocking world when he looks on himself and finds a creature taking away his pain, when he fell off the roof onto another. ¨Somehow the creature was pulling pain from his body¨(27). He later realizes that the people aren't what they seem to be, they are corrupted, this labels the evil company R&D (230). Cosmo and my life is similar. I see the people of this world as a cruel and money hungry place. People kill other people over money …show more content…
I have a job also I dress nice. This is not the only view people see me. My friends of our group see me as a very free person. I am open to anything they bring up such as, music conversations they need to have. I am a very high spirited person and love to make people laugh. I make my Family laugh all the time. My jokes just come natural so they think I should have a side job as a comedian. Responsibility is a huge deal for me I take my job and school very serious. My Family always like to tell me how college ready I am. I hope I'll be ready for what's awaiting me in college

It is so interesting to read the different perceptions that my friends and husband see of me. For example, my husband had very similar results to mine because he lives with me and sees me everyday. He has known me for ten years now and it is reassuring that he knows me so well. The only thing that we both seem to entirely disagree on is how imaginative I am. He believes that I am only slightly as I think that I am extremely. I believe this is because my husband is a big talker and he likes to verbally express his ideas where I would rather put them down on paper. As for my two friends opinions, they are slightly different. The two of my friends are actually a couple who lives together. The one I have know for ten years, where as the other I’ve only know for two. Both seem to agree that I am not at all selfish but also extremely considerate of others. This makes me feel good, as I have stated previously that I always try to treat people with the utmost respect that I would want from others.…

The United States of America can trace it’s roots back to the English. They were frustrated with over-population, poverty, or lack of freedom of religion. In the early 1600s, England sent groups of settlers to the “New World” to establish permanent colonies. They founded the Virginia Colony and the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Although the two first colonies of America were similar, they also had very distinct differences.…

Salem Possessed redefined the standard for the possibilities social history offers to understand the events and people of early America. Through a painstaking look at local records such as legal records, the Salem Village record book, the minister's book, and tax records Boyer and Nissenbaum discovered a long-standing pattern of contentious behavior of which the witchcraft accusations in 1692 was just one episode. Their analysis provides an invaluable insight into the social history of New England generally, and the factions of Salem Village that led to the tragic events of 1692, in particular.…

At the outset of the nineteenth century in Britain, religious faith and the study of the sciences tended to exist in harmony with each other. The study of God’s Word, in the Bible, and His Works, in nature, were assumed to be two versions of the same ultimate truth.1 When William Paley published Natural Theology; or, Evidences of the Existence and Attributes of the Deity in 1802, he reinforced the concept of a designing God after positing that natural objects show evidence of design, emphasizing nature as God’s creation.2…

When most people look at me, they don’t always see me. They see a girl. They see a quiet girl who is a big reader. They see a girl who is a hard worker and does well in school. They see the sister of three younger brothers. It’s true. I’m all of these things. I am also much, much more. I am mature in certain matters, and childish in others. I change my personality according to my surroundings, and do not show the world the real me. There are even some things that my family does not know about the real me.…

Three words that best describe me are easy going, fun, and talkative. I have chosen these words because these are the things people usually tell me I am. The following beliefs are important to me friends, family, and pets. Five things that I find difficult are math, school, drama, losing someone close, and saying goodbye. I often worry about what’s going on in the world because it could be peaceful in Thunder Bay but in other cities people could be struggling. I am happiest when I am with my boyfriend just hanging out and watching television or when I am with my friends and family out at camp or having a family get together. My family background is very simple I have only ever lived in Thunder Bay. I have 2 brothers, a mom, a step dad, and a biological dad. My education in high school hasn’t been the greatest and I regret a lot of things in the past 3 years with my school. I am hoping to become a hair dresser and open my own hair salon in the future. The only work experience I have had is when I worked at Robin’s Donut’s on Frederica and James street. I worked up front as a cashier and stocked most of the merchandise. One of the hobbies that I spend most of my time doing is singing. I really love and enjoy singing. I started taking lessons 2 years ago and have stuck with it ever since. I also decided to take guitar lessons but I unfortunately gave up on it and sold my guitar during the…

The ghost story gave me mixed feelings on how to take it from a historian point of view. The story was Mr. Fleetwood’s own perception of what happened and how he remembered it at that moment. I will cover the rationality of trusting the content, the justification of it being historically true, and if the metaphysical evidence of ghost must be true for the story to be historically true.…

I love knowing something I do can change someone's life. I use to do the Latin Club. I use to do the Earth Club. I use to do Build On. This year I have been more forced on the SATs and college. I want be a lawyer. Being able to someone is what love. The only thing I do outside of school is volunteer at the Norwalk Shelter. One challenge I faced in high school had to do with peer pressure. I was offered the chance to try weed. I knew that so many people at school did it, and I thought this was my chance to be popular. I didn't do it. I realized those people didn't want to be my friend. I realized that I didn't need to be popular. I am happy with my life just the way it is. I know who my friends are and it isn't those people. I realized I wanted to do it to become something I am not. I learned that day I should never lose my integrity. Someone once said, “Thoughts become words, words become actions, actions become character, character is everything." I didn't want to become that person I would have if I said yes. I wish I knew as a freshman to get involved more. When you are involved, it will help you in the long run, especially for college. Plus it is a great way to meet new people. In the lunch, I sit right across from the girl's restroom in the cafeteria. I sit with a cool and supportive group of friends. I love them like family. There you have it, I little bit about myself.
