Water
The average person should drink 7 to 10 average sized glasses of water each day. According to www.wiki.answers.com the average person drinks 0.625 gallons of water per day. To cook and clean the average person could do that on well under a gallon of water a day. For other important stuff such as taking a wash off, not a full fledge shower but instead a quick wash off with a towel and a bowl, or brushing your teeth according to www.ask.com the average person can do this on 8 oz of water a day. Although moderate caffeine intake is not likely to cause harm to your body, drinks containing caffeine inside of them should not be counted on to meet the daily liquid requirement.
