This broadcast discussed Kidney stones when combined with other conditions, that can be fatal to some women. Dr. Blaine Kristo with Mercy Medical Center, discussed when kidney stones are paired with other types of infections, it could lead to urosepsis, which can lead to death in some cases. He went on to discuss a patient by the name of Marylander Valerie Lopreato who had kidney stones and her experience with them. Mrs. Lopreato was hospitalized for three days and on IV antibiotics. I have experienced kidney stones and I agreed with a majority of the information shared in this article. I will use this information in my future and share with others. This is a preventable condition with proper fluid intake and a low sodium diet.
