Swot Analysis
Strengths
What advantages do you have that others don't have (for example, skills, certifications, education, or connections)?
What do you do better than anyone else?
What personal resources can you access?
What do other people (and your boss, in particular) see as your strengths?
Which of your achievements are you most proud of?
What values do you believe in that others fail to exhibit?
Are you part of a network that no one else is involved in? If so, what connections do you have with influential people?

Weaknesses
What tasks do you usually avoid because you don't feel confident doing them?
What will the people around you see as your weaknesses?
Are you completely confident in your education and skills training? If not, where are you weakest?
What are your negative work habits (for example, are you often late, are you disorganized, do you have a short temper, or are you poor at handling stress)?
Do you have personality traits that hold you back in your field? For instance, if you have to conduct meetings on a regular basis, a fear of public speaking would be a major weakness.
Again, consider this from a personal/internal perspective and an external perspective. Do other people see weaknesses that you don't see? Do co-workers consistently outperform you in key areas? Be realistic – it's best to face any unpleasant truths as soon as possible.

Opportunities
What new technology can help you? Or can you get help from others or from people via the Internet?
Is your industry growing? If so, how can you take advantage of the current market?
Do you have a network of strategic contacts to help you, or offer good advice?
What trends (management or otherwise) do you see in your company, and how can you take advantage of them?
Are any of your competitors failing to do something important? If so, can you take advantage of their mistakes?
Is there a need in your company or industry that no one is filling?
Do your customers or vendors complain about

Flannery O’Connor’s “A Good Man is Hard to find” and William Faulkner’s “A Rose for Emily”, are two stories written by Southern authors. In O’Connor’s story a Southern family is murdered at the hands of an escaped convict. In Faulkner’s tale, an estranged woman from a wealthy family kills her boyfriend. His rotted corpse is discovered in her bedroom after she dies. Both stories are written in the southern Gothic style and both are enriched with themes that reveal different facets of Southern culture, such as social class and…

My strengths include communication, integrity, interpersonal skills, work ethic, and responsibility. At my current job, Dairy Queen, communication is key to accomplishing goals and making sure that the job gets done with minimal errors. I work with around six other people per shift and when making products, it is important that everyone know which product you’re making to keep from making the same thing twice. Integrity is also a key part of my job. When you do something wrong, you take responsibility for your mistakes. There was an instance where I had given the customer the wrong order and had to take responsibility for us losing time to remake both orders that had then been messed up. Interpersonal skills are also important because you have to get along with your co-workers and employees to keep a healthy work environment. Although some co-workers and some customers can get under my skin every now and then, I have to maintain a calm composure to keep work going no matter what happens. When it comes to work ethic, it has to look like we’re staying busy. If we aren’t making products or helping customers, we are supposed to be cleaning or stocking cups, candies, or utensils. If there is nothing to do, I ask what else needs to be done or what my managers want specifically to be done. I always arrive at least fifteen minutes early and stay until I’m certain that I’m not needed for the store to be successful. When it comes to responsibility, I try my best to get my work done and keep on top of everything. I also double check the orders that I make so I make minimal mistakes. I definitely need to improve on teamwork skills. When at work, I usually try to work on things by myself with almost no help from my coworkers. I usually find that it’s easier for me to work on my own rather than having help from my coworkers. I could also improve…

Because my good grades allowed, I became a tutor in hopes of improving my teaching skills. Another thing I struggle with is public speaking; it is not something that I am comfortable doing. My undergraduate courses have helped me to become more comfortable with public speaking. The more I do it, the more comfortable I will become. I am a very driven person and I strive to better myself everyday. If I am faced with a task that I am not fully comfortable with I will network with others who posses the correct knowledge and research the topic myself to become more comfortable. I abide by the evidence based practice philosophy set forth by the academy. My strong will and perseverance has led me to success in academics and athletics. Swimming at the Division 1 level was a source of extra physical and mental stress on an already stressful road to pursuing an undergraduate degree. The countless early mornings, months of training, and missed classes for competitions all taught me how to manage my time wisely. I am extremely proud that I had the strength and determination to finish my four years of NCAA eligibility as a swimmer, a feat that few have accomplished. I am a highly analytical person, as I like to analyze many different angles to an issue before I make a decision. I am thorough in my decision making process so I do not miss important information. Being an athlete and having a strong…
