GOOGLE HISTORY
Larry Page Google’s, chief executive officer, is responsible for Google’s day-to-day-operations, as well as leading the company’s product development and technology strategy. He co-founded Google with Sergey Brin in 1998 while pursuing a Ph.D. at Stanford University, and was the first CEO until 2001—growing the company to more than 200 employees and profitability. From 2001 to 2011, Larry was president of products.
At Google, it’s also about sharing knowledge and assisting those who utilize the google site to grow their skills. Google has opened their minds and doors to many entrepreneurial nonprofits that share their two passions: game-changing ideas and a healthy disregard for the impossible. Google prides themselves in being a company who is willing to collaborate about sharing knowledge and helping your others expand their skills. Three components of the Google culture are; Mission, Transparency and Voice - creating an environment that encourages google users to come up with interesting and different ideas that separates them out from all the rest.

Google evaluates their benefits regularly and adapts them to the needs of our changing population. Google created the Global Impact Awards to support ideas that use technology to address some of the world’s biggest challenges. (About Microsoft, 2008).
