Swot Analysis Of Dodge Dart
Opening Paragraph Overview

The Dodge Dart SXT Rallye is a compact, sporty sedan. This front-wheel drive, 5-passenger model is powered by a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Rallye appearance package is optional with the SXT edition.

Product Overview, Test Model

The Dart model name was once ascribed to small Dodge models of the 1970s, powered by slant-six and V-8 engines. By pulling from its heritage, the brand has sought to capitalize on yet another respected model name, much in the same way as it has done with the Challenger and Charger.

Introduced in 2013, the current Dodge Dart is based on a Fiat platform, specifically the same one underpinning the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

Furthermore, a rear view camera, blind spot monitoring, and rear park assist are available.

In testing conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the 2015 Dodge Dart was awarded a Top Safety Pick award. Specifically, that achievement represents the institute’s second highest award.

On the Road

The normally aspirated 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine provides adequate off the market acceleration and performs well on the highway. This engine makes 184 horsepower and 174 foot-pounds of torque. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is available elsewhere as is a 1.4-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder engine.

By no means does this small sedan deliver performance comparable to its larger Charger sibling. It does what it needs to do to deliver precise steering and satisfactory handling. The Dodge Dart remains composed on twisty roads and shifts smoothly between all six forward gears. The Rallye package offers a rear stabilizer bar and touring suspension in a bid to optimize handling. And it does so successfully.

You see, the “liter” term is used to describe the size of the engine, the cylinders to be more specific. The bigger the cylinders, the more fuel has to be pumped in to keep the cylinders firing. The bigger the engine, the worse fuel mileage the vehicle gets. Sure there are some companies out there, like landscaping companies or people with horse trailers, which will actually need an engine that can haul that big of a load. In that case yes, the Colorado would struggle to accomplish that task. You would need a larger .350 V8 or even a diesel truck to finish that job. The Colorado has a capacity of a horsepower of 185 horsepower at about 6000 rpm. Although the engine cannot tow as much as some would like, that is not the point of the in-line 3.7 V5 (or V4). The whole reason is so that the driver can get a better miles per gallon in a pick-up. So if an individual works a manual labor job with a long commute which requires him to throw things in a truck bed instead of the cab, this would be a good truck for…

When Infiniti brought out the G35 sport sedan and sport coupe four years ago; it was easy to see who the company was going after. With its powerful six-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive and finely balanced, sport-tuned chassis, the G35 didn't gingerly dip its toe into the entry-level luxury sport sedan/coupe waters. Rather, it took a flying leap, did a cannonball and splashed cold water all over the BMW 3 Series.…

When trying to get the job done with a full-size pickup truck, it’s time to switch to a more heavy duty, and a more freshly redesigned 2010 Dodge Ram 2500. With the lauded 383-horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, which produces 400lb-ft of torque starts the stump-pulling power. When needing to bring down an empire, the grunt of the 350-horsepower, 6.7-liter Cummins turbo-diesel inline-six and its 650 pound-feel or torque is what is needed. The transmission options include six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission. This heavy-duty truck includes two and four wheel drive. The payload reaches a weighty 3,220 pounds, and towing capacity hits 13,400 pounds. Handling those loads the ram rides on a fully boxed frame, and to soften the ride, the cab’s C-pillar rides on vibration-damping liquid-filled mounts. For 2010, the Dodge Ram 2500 is available on a crew cab variation, as well as regular cab and…

The unique third generation automobiles built in 1948 and 1949 also have some special interest to car collectors. Cadillac only built them for two years. It had small fins designed into the rear fenders. Designer Bill Mitchell styled the fins after the P38 lightning fighter plane from WWII. This was the humble beginnings of the rear fender fins that would grow in popularity and size over the next decade. Reliable power windows and a power bench seats became standard equipment on 1948 Fleetwood’s.…

In keeping with original exterior body style of this American icon, the redesign captures the curvature with subtle softening of the contour. The front end design integrity has been protected by keeping the original round headlights inset into the grill. The integrity was also well maintained in providing the same style of tail light to match that of the older counterpart. Another aspect that has held the integrity of the original 1960’s model is performance. The performance of the 6.4 liter 470 horsepower 2010 model still provides the sought after horsepower of 1960’s model. This model also provides maximum acceleration in keeping with the older counterpart. In today’s times, the 2010 provides that same stigma as the older counterpart as the muscle care of this day and…

    | Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution short (evo) is a product of Japan. It was created as a separate branch to the lancer. The Evolution was intended as a Professional Rally car. The car turned out so well that there were numerous requests for a road car. The evolution was then turned into a sports sedan. The reason I love Evolution so much and would like others to know is because of the way the car was created. If for example you are a driver that loves a sporty car but has a family the Evolution is perfect it has five seats so that the whole family can go. The car is also 4by4 which means that it can go through stormy weather and the drive can feel confident. The Evolution has great prices as well so that means that you can get almost up to three hundred horsepower and a turbo for an affordable price. One of the reasons that the Evolution is so famous is for its handling it was created for rally racing which means that even though the sedan may be different it is still similar. The handling on an Evolution is one of the best in the world for a sedan. Due to the Gentlemen’s Agreement which stated in Japan that no production car would have more than 300 horsepower the Evolutions in Japan, Europe and North America some of the versions of the Evolution where different. In the future Mitsubishi is planning on making more Evolutions but it is still unclear about the look of the car. Mitsubishi claims that the car is going to have some medications and Versions of it might run on Electricity and there probably will be Hybrids.…
