This article talks about Syria and how tens of thousands of lives in Syria have been lost because of the conflict between forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and those who go against his rule. Due to this threat, hundreds of thousands of Syrians have been moving across the county's borders and its leaving their own nation separated and torn apart. The crazy bombing, massacres and bombardment have been causing the refuges to escape to neighboring countries such as Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Turkey. More than 700,000 Syrians that moved away, registered either with or receiving assistance from the UN. There has been many protests demanding President Bashar al-Assad's resignation, but Assad shows no signs of leaving his power therefore there appears to be no end in sight
What surprises me is that there is no end to it regardless of the massive protests for Assad's resignation.He is leading his country to separate due to all of the violence. The massacres, bombardment, bombings have been leaving many innocent civilians of Syria dead. The reason why i chose this article was because i wanted to look more into this piece of news. I've been hearing a lot about it and this gives me a chance to review and look that this problem. Reading this article gives me more knowledge about this situation and also makes me think of how lucky I am to live in a country where this isn't an issue.
