INTRODUCTION This report is our assignment for System Analysis and Development module. It involves two companies; BruComm, a new telecommunication company and OSA, a system developer company. Our group consists of Mohammad Noor Hamizan b. Harun and Siti Norhafizah Adillah bt. Hj Mohd Ramlan. In this assignment we conducted the first three stages of system development life cycle, which are Preliminary Investigation, System Analysis and System Design. We also created a report for every stage; Preliminary Investigation Report, System Requirement Document and System Design Specification.

BruComm Background

Our system for the assignment is for a telecommunication company called BruComm. BruComm is a new company established in Brunei to further enhance Brunei’s telecommunication. There are 5 departments all together in BruComm which are the IT department, Human Resource department, Finance Department, Logistic Department and Customer Service Department. Each department has its own HOD and all departments have only one boss which is the manager. Below is the simple organizational chart of the company. BruComm Organizational Charts GEN ERAL M ANAGER

OSA (Office of System Analysis) Background

OSA, Office of System Analysis is a company specializes in developing computer system for other companies such as banks, supermarket and even some government sectors. The employees mostly consist of computer engineers that are very experienced in the field of developing computer system.
