Polar Coordinates
Plot Azimuth from a known point.
Plot distance from the know point along the azimuth line.
The polar coordinate is at the end of the azimuth/distance line.

STEP 1. PLACE THE INDEX MARK OF THE PROTRACTOR AT THE
CENTER OF MASS ON THE POINT FROM WHICH YOU ARE
MEASURING.

PNT 1

STEP 2. LOCATE THE DESIRED AZIMUTH ON THE PROTRACTOR
SCALE AND PLACE A DOT ON THE MAP AT THIS
AZIMUTH.

56

PNT 1

EXAMPLE: 56 DEGREES

STEP 3. REMOVE THE PROTRACTOR AND CONNECT THE POINT
AND DOT WITH A STRAIGHT LINE.

PNT 1

STEP 3. REMOVE THE PROTRACTOR AND CONNECT THE POINT
AND DOT WITH A STRAIGHT LINE.

PNT 1

STEP 1. SELECT THE APPROPRIATE SCALE MEASUREMENT AND
PLACE A PAPER STRAIGHT EDGE ON THE SCALE.

EXAMPLE: DISTANCE IN METERS

STEP 2. DETERMINE THE DESIRED DISTANCE TO MEASURE FROM
THE SCALE AND MARK THE PAPER AT THIS DISTANCE
USING TICK MARKS.

EXAMPLE: 3400 METERS

STEP 3. ALIGN THE STRAIGHT EDGE WITH THE AZIMUTH LINE.
ENSURE THE FIRST TICK MARK IS CENTER MAST
ON THE KNOWN POINT.

PNT 1

STEP 4. PLACE A DOT ON THE MAP AT THE SECOND TICK MARK
FROM THE STRAIGHT EDGE ON THE MAP.

PNT 1

THE POSITION OF THE SECOND TICK MARK
IS THE POSITON OF THE UNKNOWN POINT.

REMOVE THE STRAIGHT EDGE AND DETERMINE THE GRID
COORDINATE TO THE SECOND POINT.

In this presentation, the author has explained different metrics and there attributed used to measure software. A person can only measure and represent it in number when he knows something about it. On the other hand, if has no idea about it then he doesn’t have any idea about it [1]. There are two types of software complexity metrics. One gives the efficiency of the machine while running the software which is called as computational complexity. Another one is giving us the factors which affect the software developer capacity to develop good software which is known as psychological complexity. There are two types of software metrics. The process metrics which gives details of the process used such as software life cycle used for development, the time consumed for the development etc. The…

Approximately half of the Earth is illuminated at any time by the Sun. At the equator the daytime is almost twelve hour in length. This is because In the Northern Hemisphere, the length of the day is longer during the months when the North Pole is tilted towards the Sun and shorter during the months when it's tilted away from the Sun. The reverse is true for the Southern Hemisphere. The Equator is exactly halfway in between the poles. So it wouldn't make any sense for a day on the equator to be longer when one of the poles is tilted towards the Sun, and shorter when the other one…

Water is polar. It has a positive and a negative charge. It is attracted to interacts with other polar substances and breaks the bonds holding them together; thus dissolving them. Non-polar molecules, on the other hand, do not attract the water. The water does not interact with them but rather is attracted more to itself. This is why the non-polar molecules are insoluble in water. "Like dissolves like" is usefule in that it helps us to remember that polar disolves polar. Pouring salt into water is an example of a soluble substance. Water is polar and NaCl is polar. Generally, metals are an example of substances that are insoluble in water.…

Puerto Rico doesn’t have lengthy rivers, and huge lakes because of its somewhat short width and mountain range that runs from east to west. The longest river flows to the northern coast, and is named as Grande de Arecibo. There are other rivers such as La Plata, Cibuco, Loíza, and, Bayamón all flowing to the north, and the Grande de Añasco, flowing to the west. There are other perennial rivers that flow north and west. Most of the rivers that run to south remain arid majority of the year however they can even cause flooding with heavy rainfall.…
