Target Behavior Case Study
Target Behavior (Provide operational definition):
The following target behaviors were indicated on the paperwork that was received prior to DaNorrian start date. His parents attended a moving staffing before his start date. They indicated that many of the behaviors listed below were rare or circumstantial. The Behavior Action Plan will be adjusted at his next meeting to include any behaviors that are observed in his current setting.
1 Inappropriate Vocalization/Vocal Scripting= Any loud vocals above normal conversation level, any vocal protesting against/refusal to engage in a specific behavior the student has been asked to engage in, any inappropriate vocal commenting (cussing or threatening statements), any reciting of scripted comments …show more content…

DaNorrian will learn basic problem solving strategy of STAR (Stop-Think-Act-Review). Teacher, Social Worker, and Paraprofessionals Monitor
Before transitions, the paraprofessional will give DaNorrian clear, concrete, one-step directives to the next desired task. The paraprofessional will also verbally remind John of any desired behavioral reminders during the transition period. Teacher, Social Worker, and Paraprofessionals Monitor
When DaNorrian walks too far ahead of staff or the group, he will be asked to retrace his steps and walk at the appropriate distance from staff and at an appropriate pace. Teacher, Social Worker, and Paraprofessionals
DaNorrian will have a social story read to him that will address the social inappropriateness of having his hands in his private area and engaging on physical self-stimulating behaviors Teacher, Social Worker, and Paraprofessionals Monitor
