B. PLOT
The film, set during the Japanese Occupation of the Philippines between 1942 and 1944, tells the story of Rosario (Aunor), a young schoolteacher engaged to be married to Crispin (Roco). Crispin leaves Rosario to fight the Japanese as a guerilla, and in his absence a Japanese-Filipino officer named Masugi (De León) rapes her.
Masugi later returns to Rosario apologizing for his act, bearing gifts of canned food and rice which Rosario at first refuses. Matters are complicated when Rosario's father Mang Andoy (Mario Escudero) is arrested by the Japanese and Rosario reveals to Masugi that she is pregnant. Rosario must make a choice: accept Masugi's proposal to make her his wife (saving her father and ensuring a safe and stable life for her child), or reject him and the baby they have conceived together.

C. SUMMARY
The film Tatlong Taông Walang Diyos started with the clips of artillery, missiles, soldiers, war planes and ships during World War II and there was narration of what happened, that the Philippines was occupied by the Japanese and it was three years without God. November, 1941 when the story started as Crispin, a Filipino was looking for Rosario in the school in Laguna where she teaches. When he saw her gazing faraway waiting for someone, he went to her and the miss asked if he’s going to leave. The man is going to join the resistance against the Japanese and bid goodbye to Rosario. Rosario couldn’t do anything but offer him prayers. Crispin showed Rosario that he will miss her by holding her hand. Rosario shows a face of sadness as the man walks away. At home, Rosario

The religious beliefs of the Semang are complex which include many different gods. Most of the Semang tribes are animistic where they believe that non human objects have spirits. Many significant events in their lives such as birth, illness, death and agricultural rituals have much animistic symbolism. Their priests practice magic, foresee the future and cure illness. They could use Capnomancy to decide whether a camp is safe for the night. Their priests are said to be “Shaman” in that they are someone who acts as a medium between the visible world and an invisible spirit world. The Semang bury their dead simply, and place food and drink in the grave (Tarmiji, Fujimaki, Norhasimah,…

Recto covers a whole range of information that is relevant for this research. However, its value is in its information that it provides about the guerrilla groups, how they were formed, and the roll that the youth played in fighting the Japanese. In order to give the reader an idea of what the guerrillas were up against and why they were so determined to fight against the Japanese, I will be referencing Captain Vicente M. Agdamag who wrote, 150 Days of Hell Japanese Invasion of the Philippines 8 Dec 1941-May 1942. His real accounts of his time in the area of study during the Japanese occupation gives a very clear picture as to the horror that was going on and why they people chose to fight against the Japanese. Being a Filipino commander it makes his work even more relevant than the work would be had it been from an American who was there during that time. Because Agdamag does such a great job describing what went on during that time he also gave great accounts of the military movements, this includes both the movements of McArthur (when he was still in the Philippines) as well as the guerrillas. This military information will prove to be vital to constructing this research paper. The final key to my research is a documentary that was created entitled, Bloody War with the Japanese Invaders - The Philippines Hell. This documentary gives a great account over everything that was going on in the area well after…
