Taylor is the daughter of Adrian Stokes, an expert in Psychology of persuasion. In the story of Ads R Us, Taylor discovered that she had been lied to about the circumstances of her birth. She is not the natural child of Adrian Stokes and Kara Trent, but is the true daughter of Adrian Stokes. Since Taylor was six or seven, she was implanted with a series of scanning devices- all about her reactions to the world around her. Taylor is a skinny teenager who attends Fysher-Platt Academy. ‘My cousin Taylor was skinny too,’ (Page 10, Barrett). Running through her thoughts she also didn’t want her cousin to embarrass her in front of her school friends. Taylor also has a very rude personality and doesn’t understand other’s feelings. ‘Like I cared. ‘Barrett?’ I said, ‘Dumb name,’ (Page 4, Taylor).
