Dear Parents
The Kiddies Academy Conference took place on Saturday 21 June and was attended by K.A. staff from as far afield as Sabi Sabi Sands and Bela Bela. The atmosphere was electric with all the staff excited to share experiences and to take with new information and knowledge.
Once again one was struck by the dedication, enthusiasm and passion everyone involved with K.A. has for Early Childhood Development. All staff are focused on making learning an amazing experience for all our children. Everyone learnt something new; CAPS curriculum, reinforced the importance of storytelling, learnt how to use the fire extinguishers and how to deal with common playground situations appropriately. 30 June, Monday Evaluation reports handed out. If you have concerns with your little one’s progress please make an appointment with the teacher. During the government holidays from 30 June – 18 July we focus on revision. This is an ideal opportunity to speak to the teacher about your child’s progress.
4 July, Friday Market Day for the Cheetah Class Mom and dad buy a cup of coffee on your way to work. Hot chocolate will be sold to our little ones during break @ R5 a cup.
30 June – 18 July Government winter school holidays Puzzle building and Board game fun for K.A. kids.
15 July, Tuesday On Que Theatre Production
A musical extravaganza presented by professional actors. Bringing theatre to our school!
Cost is R25 per child.

The Makro School competition ends 30 June. The K.A. top 3 buyers not only win 3 great cash prizes, they also get to take part in a 1 minute trolley dash – pack as much as you can in your trolley in 1 minute. I know exactly which food isle I would target – the coffee and/or tuna
