1.1 Explain why effective communication is important in developing positive relationships with children, young people and adults:
It is important you communicate effectively towards all children and adults but in different ways.
They are many different types of ways of communicating and many different gestures you may use to communicate with others.
When communicating with a child it is important you make eye contact with the child and answer their questions and listen to everything they have to say this will encourage the child to do so their selves when communicating with others.
Also so it’s important to get down to a child’s level to show you are listening and when speaking or listening to a child you must always show interest in what they have to say or something they may have done.
You will also speak more on a child’s level this is easier for the child to communicate; you may use language that the child is known to. if they are really young you may speak high pitched and show interest and praise the child for something good or maybe if the child has been bad you will get down to their and let them know this is not good by tone of voice and using facial expressions, facial expressions and using tone of voice is a really good way of communicating with one another because the face and voice tells everything like if your sad angry or really happy this is sometimes more better to get through to a child or adult they will express your feelings through communication of tone of voice and facial expressions.
Children are sensitive to your body language, tone of voice, and choice of words whether or not they are target of your frustration. shouting at one person in the class room can immediately make the whole class feel intimidated and like they have done something wrong too so a better way to deal with this problem in a class room is to make eye contact, and gently address concerns with a
