Teacher Leadership Philosophy
Teacher leadership is the ability to be an influential source in inspiring others to do their best in any given circumstance. Teacher leadership does not come in the form of one job description, but in various forms including formal and informal roles and responsibilities. Teacher leadership nurtures the school development to ensure there is an academic increase in student learning. I believe learning is a process that improves over time, as teachers focus on educating students to the best of their ability. As a teacher, it is my job to teach and inspire students to succeed in the global community. In maintaining the focus on the learning process, it is crucial for students be well-equipped to be the best they can be and reach their academic achievement level to their fullest potential. I strive to cultivate the paths of learning in a safe, nurturing learning environment so that all students become independent lifelong learners. Creating an inspirational vision and mission statement that demonstrates the values of my campus is imperative in leading a campus. The vision should motivate others to do great things on a daily basis while focusing on the same goal. I am a moral leader on campus who is kind, genuine and respectful of others.
