An incompetent teacher doesn’t know the subject matter of what they are teaching, it might be because they are new or because they don’t care about the subject they are teaching. This type of teacher affects students negatively because it is hard for the student to learn the subject matter of the class.
An offensive teacher ridicules their students and makes them feel less of a person and powerless to do anything to stop the behavior of the teacher. These students are less likely to learn and are not going to want to come to class.
The last misbehavior
is indolence, is a teacher that doesn’t follow through on the tasks that they are supposed to complete for the class, such as correcting assignments. They also can assign reading assignments or tasks that aren’t pertinent to the class. This misbehavior affects the students because they are unprepared for what is needed to be learned for this class and for future classes.
All of these misbehaviors can negatively affect the student and the chances for the students to continue on with their education at the pace that they intended to. If these misbehaviors are happening, it is the student’s responsibility to let someone of authority know what is going on so that changes can be made.
