teaching in hetrogenious class
Part 2

Abstract

Reading the literary texts required for module "F", I knew that teaching the stories as it is, would not be possible in the heterogeneous class as mine as it would never succeed. In this class not only, each one of the students is at the different level but also he has his unique learning problem. I had to find another solution and quickly. My name is Hagit, and I am an English teacher for 4 and 5 points Bagrut exam in a unique school. In this school, all students have ADHD. Each one has a peculiar problem. The specialty of the school is to make sure that all children will graduate with a complete Bagrut certificate. Therefore, I had to get a quick solution for my aforementioned problem. Searching in the literature I found several methods that apply for teaching mixed classes and more methods for teaching ADHD students. Yet I had one more question, my students were especially brilliant. They were remarkably smart and highly intelligent, and I was afraid that they would lose interest in literature and that the entire log would be destroyed. Suddenly I realized that all three short stories I have read have a common ground: they deal with the attitude of the native to the foreigner - immigrant. Since each one of us experienced immigration or met an immigrant during his lifetime (either the student or his parents or grandparents made aliyah, they hear the news, they have probably met at least one newcomer in their surroundings – taking into consideration that all of them live in the moshavim). By using this framework, I thought, I would be able to be loyal to the school 's approach in order to let each one of my students work independently in accordance with his difficulties. I would also be able to conduct conversations and brainstorms so they would be prepared for their oral exams. In addition, they will be able to deal with any issue

School reform includes a number of programs and policies. A reform normally changes or affects the way a school is ran; there are two types of reforms; one deals with curriculum the other administration. Today, many school reforms are driven by the idea that U.S. students need to be more competitive. To retain this country 's international leadership, our schools must prepare all students to be productive in the world marketplace. In a highly competitive world economy, business leaders are concerned about the future of our workforce. Educators think we expect too little from our children. Basic skills are no longer enough. Students need not only to have a good understanding of the core academic subjects, they must also be able to solve problems, make decisions, and be prepared for responsible citizenship and productive employment in our nation 's modern economy (What does School Reform means to my neighborhood Schools?, 2010). The purpose of the paper is to discuss standard school base reform; its beginning and how it affects the students today.…

Understanding the things that are not familiar to us is a very hard task to accomplish. In the attempt to be a highly effective educator, a teacher must take it upon themselves to adapt their abilities in a manner in which no student will feel the need to have apprehension or shame to enter their classroom. It is also very important that the families of the students in the classroom are not looked down upon or cast judgment upon for believing in a system or cultural practices that may or may not have been passed downed to them from generations ago.…

In this chapter it talks about gender identity and how we educators can bring in different methods to help children break down gender stereotypes made in our social norm. Just like racial identity, gender identity plays huge role in our society where there are still traditional gender roles exist in many places in the world. During the circle talk, many of us mentioned about how certain colors belong to male or female and how everyone can like everyone can like different colors. Even such a small issues like colors, it is showing how much we are making boundaries of which gender can like or do. When I was in grade 6 gym class, gym teacher picked two captains who were male and female and he made them pick their team members. For the girl captain,…
