Teaching of Paul
I have chosen to write my paper about how our country handles money and how “We the People” treat our President. First, The United States has faced many continuing issues, a few of which are budget shortage, health care, old infrastructure and immigration. These issues are complicated and have significant importance to where our country may end up in the future. The United States budget shortage is a very big problem. Our federal government is facing a series of financial challenges. Because of the recession tax revenues have declined. Money is needed for everything from roads, highways, sanitation, etc. We have bridges, school buildings, and parking lots that need to be fixed. In order for these things to begin to get fixed the government needs money and lots of it. Many feel that our government is just pocketing our money and are not doing what needs to be done with it. Is this true? I don’t think we will ever really know exactly we’re our tax dollars are spent. We will just have to keep on guessing. President Barack Obama is our current President and he has been for the past four years. And it truly hearts my heart to see the way our country treats the President of our country, the United States. I know this is something that people talk about on a regular, but I have never seen so much disrespect before in my life. In Romans 13: 1-6 Paul states that we all are to listen to our governing authorities, the one that is appointed is appointed by God. And who goes against them will have to answer to God. Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong.
