As evaluating my own teaching I believe that as a teacher I need to evaluate my teaching techniques.
My greatest strength as a teacher is that I have a great passion for teaching students, my love for learning and experiencing new ideas in class. I am able to adapt my lessons to meet the needs of all students. Mostly I put theory into Practice and this has helped me in seeing different classrooms and seeing how different teachers’ practices are.
I go around classes and see how other teachers teach and evaluate whether it would be beneficial for me to adopt this kind of method and would my student grasp the knowledge am trying to teach them.
I often need to modify my lesson plans if they are not going accordingly as I planned I always have a plan B with me if my plan A doesn’t works well.
I often prepare less and change my ideas easily when am teaching as am teaching nursery students. To hold their attention I need to change my teaching techniques and ideas after every 5- 10 minutes. This is often an advantage for me because I change my style of teaching when I see that they are getting bored and I don’t have to stick to my lesson plan every time.
I use more music and actions when am teaching them because it’s very hard for me to explain everything to them in words so mostly I do actions and demonstrate how it would work.
I often think my strength is always being willing to learn and try new things, but this can be a weakness as well...
My biggest weakness is most definitely the time management. I usually have too many things going on at the same time and struggle to juggle them all. That’s why it is often hard for me to keep the tract of time as often the lesson gets more interesting and the students are enjoying themselves learning through play or show and tell. That’s when I totally forget that I need to give back the time to the other teacher
It is something that I am actively working on, however, and am making some progress.

I tend to use a variety of different teaching strategies. Reece and Walker (2006:101) state that “the choice of teaching strategy is often related to your own individual style and what makes you feel most comfortable in doing. However, there are some overall rules that you may like to consider. The first is the type of objective that you want your students to achieve. The second is the number of students you have to teach”.…

The only weakness I have is adapting to change. I never knew I had this kind of trouble in life, but I learned about something I have to work on. After analyzing it I realize it is a problem. Because I get nervous when I start something new or when I get stuck doing something I cannot do, I start to get frustrated. After learning this about myself, I need to work on making my weakness into strength by adapting to any type of changes in my life. My strengths included following instructions and adhering to values. I am very good when I have instructions in front of me as I build something new or when I have an assignment. Following instructions is my biggest strength in my life because it is something I use every day. Adhering to values is something new that I learned about myself just because I never noticed it in my life. I am the type of person who will stand by the truth in every situation around my.…

Being exposed to so many different challenging scenarios I realized my biggest strength or skill would have to be my ability to adapt. In 1st grade I was moved from my neighborhood elementary school which had my family and neighbors to a magnet school that fostered more successful students but was much farther from the security of familiarity, which in this case was my neighborhood and my family. In the face of adversity I was able to adapt to my circumstances and succeed. This same ability showed in my first job. Since my youth my parents endorsed a school only mindset which meant that they didn't want me to worry about getting a job, or about having to run the household for my siblings they took that burden away for me to be able to focus…
