I. TITLE: “Increased dependence of technology in the U.S.”
A: General Purpose: To persuade my audience.
B. Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience that dependence of technology in the U.S. has increased.
C. Central Idea: Dependence of technology in the U.S. has increased because most people use cellphones, most college students are dependent on the internet, and children spend more time in front of the computer or television.

A. Most people use cellphones.

IV. Conclusion
In summary, Technology dependency has increased in the United States. Technology is used today for a lot of things. It is part of everyday life from cellphones, computers, television and internet. The technology can either be helpful or hurt the user.
