Are Televisions, movies and Music Responsible for Teen Violence?
Televisions, movies and music are responsible for teen violence because the televisions and movies have programs that show a lot of fighting and music that have thoughts that might result in violence, there are a lot of parts in the dialogue that is suitable for adults and all the media has inappropriate language. This is bad because there is a lot of violence going on in the world. This might eventually lead to the world having terrorism issues.
My first reason is there are a lot of parts in the dialogue that would be suitable for adults. This makes a lot of teens absorb the information which makes a lot of students do teen violence. For example, there is a lot of music in a school. A student says bad words and gets expelled. The situation happened because of the use of bad

This is bad because they are in contact with all of these devices all the time. This shows that the students are getting suspended and expelled because they are listening to television, movies and music all the time. This will lead to a dire future because in the schools, students are also listening to cellphones and watching movies. This means they are in contact with televisions, movies and music all the time. There are at least 80% of the school population doing inappropriate things. For example, a student listen to a television show, movie and some music saying suicide is good. If the student believes that, then they might commit suicide or even murder. This would put the community at risk. The student would go and commit suicide, or even worse, commit suicide himself. While this may be crazy, it is true. Almost 90 % of the school population may be affected by one little thing that could of easily been avoided by teens not seeing these inappropriate dialogues. It is dangerous for

Another reason is taking drugs that make them lash out or be crazy. There are drugs out these days that will make some teens lash out, act senseless, and crazy. Also teens get influence from extremely violent video games and television causes them to act pugnacious. All of these things cause can cause kids/teens to do harmful things to themselves and others.…

Sandra Calvert’s take on violence in adolescences illustrates for us how family can affect our violent tendencies, for better and worse. Aggressive raising, violence in the home, rejection or disapproval, neglect, and chaotic family life are all gateways to growing up hostile or violent. While on the other hand youths who come from nurturing, supportive, and affectionate families are less likely to act out and have such high levels of built up aggression. Violent and bloody gore movies are awesome to us teens these days. In the “Kids are Kids” article by Lundstorm violent TV shows have influenced a preponderance amount of youth violence (Lundstorm2). It is the parents fault if their teen is violent because they let them watch violent movies and TV shows. The other reason it is the parents fault is because they did not set boundaries for those kids. If guardians would set a parental control so their children could not see those cruel disturbing things, parents would not have to worry. Parents are very agitated and troubled when their child is being tried as an adult. They say it is the media to blame,…

Good Morning/afternoon Miss Blanch and class, I’m going to be talking about teen violence and factors that can trigger it. I select this issue as I think it’s an issue worth talking about because teen violence is the worst especially when it causes injury or even death. This issues is not expressed in The Formal but it is still a very important to talk about, many Australian teens have experienced violence either with friends or at parties where alcohol and/or drugs is consumed. Alcohol plays a big part of teen violence because they cannot think straight, they think the room is spinning and anyone who says something that comes across in the wrong way that’s when the first punch is thrown. These problems can be solved by not always drinking out, ignoring what people say.…

In recent times, many cases of police brutality, as well as racial profiling have been brought to light. As a result, many officers and law enforcement officials are not trusted by citizens today and some police officers have allowed a negative image to manifest. They have far too much power over anyone else, and any average person can become a police officer. These officers are not trusted because of the history that some have had and continue to create. There is no easy solution to this issue, but we as a community have a lot of power for change so we should try to find one. I have come to a conclusion that it is clear that police behaviour now has to be monitored. An effective way to monitor police behaviour, and therefore prevent violence, is to make it so that an officer has to wear a police body camera whilst…

I would like to think we all take a strong stance against the issue of youth violence, especially in our own communities. While I’m sure most of us want what is best, the question is: “what are we actively doing to prevent violence and promote God’s love, peace and hope as well as safety for our own families against this rising occurrence?” There is no doubt, just by watching the news on a daily basis that the rise of delinquency in this generation is astounding. What is to come with the following generation and so forth if we do not take a strong stance now? My proposal for this situation is that we start to direct our attention more towards preventing the violence from ever starting rather than the repercussions for the violence. We can do this by teaming together with our local churches and putting together various programs for children, teens and families so that they can involve God in their lives, grow in faith, and have brighter futures.…

Dating violence within the United States is not an uncommon topic especially amongst certain ethnicities. In fact, the rapid increase of teen dating violence that occurs within the African American community has caught the public’s attention and has become a public health problem (Black et al. 2015). Data from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has reported that teen dating violence is highest among African American students followed by those of Hispanic heritage. Accordingly, 1.6% of females report dating violence cases three times more often than their male counterparts (Black et al. 2015). Exposure to dating violence during one’s high school years can lead to an increased risk of re-victimization at a later point in life.…
