Teen Drinking What is the Effect?

22 February 2013 Teenagers who drink are harming their selves and setting themselves up for failure. They do not realize that not only are they affecting their own well-being, but other people around them as well. Alcohol destroys bodies, it can cause them to lose mental capacity and be slow. A lot of the teens who drink will have severe health problems. Not all of it is the teens fault; some of the blame has to go to the adult. The adults are supposed to be the responsible ones who teach their child from right and wrong. When their teen drinks, they are not acting like a mature responsible adult. Adults have major influences on a teenager’s life. As a child grows and develops into a teen, they usually do what they see growing up (New Zealand). Some parents don’t even care what their child does. Teenagers today are easily getting fake ID’s, through the source of other teenagers, and the internet (New Zealand). If they begin drinking at a young age, then they will most likely be addicted for the rest of their life (Tardiff). Parents who let their child run crazy are already setting them up for
