Today’s generation is less moral than our parents and grandparents because of some of the role models that they have in their lives. For example, some kids on the bus that are rude to the elderly and sit when in fact there are elderly who are in more need of a seat to sit in rather than teenagers. There are many kids who are so rude and arrogant when you ask them just a simple question. They don’t know the difference between right and wrong. Some smoke and drink in their teenage years and don’t even know how harmful it can be to their bodies later on. It can damage your lungs and your brains all because you made stupid choices and decisions. Teenagers don’t get that or maybe they weren’t taught that. It’s possible that maybe their parents are addicted to drugs and alcohol and they think “hey, if mom and dad can do it, why can’t I?” It gives them the green signal and then they think it’s alright to do all that type of stuff which isn’t what we should be taught. Others have such an attitude that they become all so defensive over such things that don’t matter as much as other things. There are many reasons as to why some are less moral then those before us, but it’s no excuse to try and cover up. For example, in the article “Are We Raising Morally Illiterate Kids” by Caroline Medwell, she said that she turned on the radio to hear the announcer introducing a program called “Is TV Turning Kids into Violent…

In Frank Romero's, "Going to the Olympics" painting has a lot of cool and interesting stuff in it. There are cars with hearts above them, palm trees, a blimp with "Goodyear" spelling across it and symbols of the Olympics. I see iron, two men fighting, a horse and a stamp. All of these are most likely related to the Olympics. The cars probably mean that L.A has a lot of cars, especially since it was painted on a freeway and there is a bunch of traffic on them. Especially on the 405 at nights, which makes me think that the cars mean a bunch of traffic in L.A.…

As we grow older, we begin to focus more on what the world thinks of us, and we stray away from what we were told when we were little. Teenagers begin to care what other people think of them. They want to be a part of the “in crowd” at school. Many times, teenagers will do things they do not believe in to get what they want. Girls will become anorexic to get the body like a celebrity because that’s what they are told they should look like. When we are young kids, we tell our parents the truth and what we did at a friend’s house when we spent the night. Teenagers leave out details; They might say that they went to someone’s house and hung out. But they leave out the fact that they were drinking and smoking with many other teens, to avoid getting in trouble. Every teenager knows what is right, and what is wrong. The majority of today’s youth has become extremely apathetic, completely careless about the things going on in the world that don’t regard them. They’ve gotten so obsessed with what goes on in their own lives that they don’t stop and take the time to listen or care about what anyone else is feeling. Technology plays a huge role in the apathetic behavior of teens because it gives them the power to constantly be updated with the latest gossip or news about their peers. Apart from that, adults are also partly to be blamed for this apathy because they make it nearly impossible for teens to have a say in government without having a riot or protest.…
