Telecom Engineer Career Episode
Career Episode 3
A) Introduction
3.1 This episode describes my participation in the project “Network Engineer Web-Based Viewer “for Al Mozoon Company. The project took place in the period from Jun 2010 until December 2010 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My task as a Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer was to preside over the procession of the project.

B) Background
3.2 Telecommunications companies select and implement Telcordia’s Network Engineer (NE) for one simple reason; they want to manage their network resources efficiently with detailed graphical representation. Network Engineer gives the end-user (engineers and planners) a robust toolbox for creating and editing network detail. However, not every user within the organization needs the ability or training to create network data. That’s why operators need a way to extend data access throughout the enterprise and enable diverse groups to query, trace, view, and access reports related to network data.

About Al Mozoon
3.3 Al Mozoon services span Project Planning and Consulting, Project Feasibility Studies, Data Migration Implementation, Software Installation and Tuning, Software Configuration and Customization, System Analysis and Design, End User Training and Fiber Optic Design Services using Telcordia’s Network Engineer (NE) application. Customization involves the addition of new commands and/or interfaces to expand the functionality of the application to fit the needs and requirements of its customers.

About the project:
3.4 Despite the fact that the program Network Engineer is provided with a Graphical User Interface (GUI), engineers and plant managers may lack the time to become experts on Network Engineer because there are a lot of functionalities within.
3.5 The aim of the project was to create a viewing application implemented through a familiar
Environment (like the web) to help engineers, plant managers and some other end users to perform their jobs more easily and quickly. This need can
