The patient will be at the initiating site and the health care provider is at a distant site. Telehealth will include telemedicine that will also allow a two-way, real time interactive communication between the patient and the physician and /or practitioner at the distant site. The interactive communication will include equipment which will minimize the audio and data communications, the transmission
or reception of indicators, script, sounds, or intelligence of any environment by wire, radio, and light beam.
Strengths

Telehealth will administer the beneficiary to deliver services and alternate the component. It will provide full services delivery and will supplement services already in place. This advances technology will increase aging patient population and patients with chronic diseases. The growth in telemedicine will demonstrate regulatory situation with an emphasis on care organization and shifting care. The settings within the telehealth and telemedicine component will consists of environment of rural health and shortage of Physician. This will allow beneficiary to those needed immediate care. Additionally, it enable patients to receive care in a timelier manner and provide patient safety. It will enhance patient development in the management of chronic disease conditions which enable flexibility to small hospitals and rural hospital. Importantly, it is cost-effective that will improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. This services will maintain or expand existing relationships. The rapidly growing sector in the Healthcare Industry has increase in the retail clinics and employer onsite health center. In 2013, Adventist Health partnered with Blue Shield of California on an outpatient telehealth initiative focused on rural communities. Weaknesses
Telehealth are based on technology which relays on electrical.
Though, when severe climate and other unknown issues occurs it can cause a power outage which may also cause a glitches when disruption interferes through internet connection while communicating with a doctor on site. Additional, inadequate assessment may apply to this situation as certain non-verbal cues might still slip through the important diagnosis. Privacy and confidentiality would be the main primary safety setting to telehealth. It would be essential for telehealth users to absorb how to run the technology accurately and to distinguish their legal rights when it arises to protecting their identities online. However, the weakness would apply based on what the hackers are capable to consume through the information that are transmitted online. A new Physician whom are new to the technology may feel resistance and demonstrate difficulty to manage and regulate the expansion of the technology. In 2010, the U.S. Government Accountability Office reported on the lack of good data on the impact of Federal Communications Commission's programs (Telecommunications: FCC's Performance Managment Weaknesses Could Jeopardize Proposed Reforms of the Rural Health Care Program, 2010). Furthermore, weakness would be having an insufficient evaluation of the benefits, and poor coordination with other federal
programs.
Opportunities

Opportunities include the ability to advance and restructure the process to make it more user-friendly and timely.
The advanced telecommunication and information technologies have a role to play in transforming the health care system. It provides a front-line care which can reach its full potential when offered as a covered benefit in a health plan. Another approach would be monitoring discharged patients. These will allow the health systems to leverage telemedicine capability to complements the health services through telehealth and to reduce hospital readmissions. With both the government and market initiating telehealth it will increase the global position for telehealth opportunities. "Over the next five years, as healthcare providers embrace more collocative technology and communication solutions, the no-brainier application cases for telehealth will grow in kind." (Miliard,
2012).
Threats
Threats include inadequate implementation, persistent gaps in broadband coverage, inability to demonstrate the value of broadband, wasting of funds, and lack of sustainability.
