My perspective of telling stories was that they are meant for our entertainment. I believed this only, because many stories that I have heard and told were to entertain my friends. This had changed when Sneha said stories are often used for creating memories. This changed my perspective because I never thought memories can be stories that are shared with others. After she stated this I agreed with her and seen how telling stories is another way of sharing and storing our memories with others. I also agreed with Lauren when she said that telling stories are used to hide your true self. This is because everyone wants to show the world who they want to be, commonly through social media.
