Teradyne Operating Segments is divided into three groups: Semiconductor test, system test group, and wireless group. As of 2011 annual sales corresponded 77% in semiconductor test; 21% corresponded to system test; and 2% corresponded to wireless. Although the wireless sector was the smallest, it is expected that wireless operation will correspond 10% in 2012 of Teradyne sales.
Teradyne growth strategy is to expand and maintain served market by leveraging technology and distribution to deliver superior test solutions with tight financial and strategic acquisitions. This strategy allowed Teradyne to grew 42% from 2007 to 2011 ($3.6 Billion to $5.5 Billion).
