The above mission statement implies that the main aim of SK+F is to improve the living standards of the people. They also want to increase life expectancy of people, so that they live longer to enjoy more beautiful days and live a blissful and healthy life.

Executive Summary
Transcom group limited is a business that consists of many industries. Transcom group started its journey in 1885 through tea plantation but as the business started to grow, jute business of the Transcom group made the backbone of the family business. This diversified business house now has interest in many segments in the industrial and service sectors of Bangladesh. Some products managed by Transcom Group are Pepsi, 7-Up, Mirinda, KFC, Pizza Hut, Phillips N.V, Whirlpool, Maybeline, Garnier, Heinz, Frito-Lay, Lindt, Servier, and Novo-Nordisk. The other aspects of their business include the pharmaceutical industry (Eskayef Bangladesh Limited), newspapers (Prothom Alo and The Daily Star), FM Radio (ABC Radio FM 89.2 www.abcradiobd.fm) and Distribution (Transcom Distribution Company ltd). In 2012, the Chairman and CEO of Transcom group won the OSLO for business and peace award.
The former chairman of Transcom group dreamt to venture the pharmaceutical industry of Bangladesh in 1885. Transcom entered the healthcare center and merged with the well-known multinational pharmaceutical company SmithKline & French. After the merger, the new company was styled as Eskayef Bangladesh Limited. The company’s annual sales are surpassing 60 million US dollars.
