Terrorism And Networks As Global Actors
Introduction
Terrorism has occurred throughout history many times and we only studied these or watched on TV without thinking about “how much increased the level of terrorist acts?” or “what role is playing terrorism on the political and global sphere?” Today the world is experiencing a global rebirth of attacks. It no longer affects only small societies, such as isolated third world countries who fall victim to regular terrorist attacks, but the whole world is becoming more familiar with this destroying events.
Terrorism in modern world
In this modern world, terrorism has become a hazardous threat to all the countries around the world as it will cause devastating casualties and economy impact in any of the countries. According to Krueger and Maleckova (2003), the term terrorism is defined as “premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.” Terrorism is basically an act of the terrorists to convert a message such as ideological, religious or political object through violence or destruction. The more destructive it is, the more audiences they will have. Thus, terrorists will be greatly increased if they can influence people around the world to achieve the objectives or goals that the terrorists’ group has plotted. In addition, there are factors that made other people to join terrorism and the effects of it and this is terribly. If such acts like terrorism can attract people’s attention, in what world will we live in the future? How can violence and humiliation be promoted? All these mean only the fact that terrorism has a great role on the global rang and it can influence the wrong attitude and behavior of people.
Factors which causes terrorism
In fact, the question, "what causes terrorism?" is not quite the right question to be asking, because we will never be able to answer it. We cannot say that the presence of one factor
