1.1 Terms of Reference
This report has been written to evaluate and analyse the leadership style, motivational strategy and culture of two business entrepreneurs and what drives them towards success.
1.2 Introduction
In this report, two entrepreneurs of our modern world are compared in order to outweigh one’s advantage over the other by comparing their leadership style, motivational strategy, culture of business and the success they have achieved through risky but bold decisions in their life. The two modern day entrepreneurs are Mr Elon Musk and Mr Larry Page.
Both of these entrepreneurs have transformed the world we live in today.
1.3 Background
1.3.1 Elon Musk
Born in June 28, 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa, Musk got his first computer at the age of 10 and by the age of 12 he taught himself programming and made his first software – a game called Blaster which he also sold (Biography.com, 2013) In 1989, at the age of 17, he moved to Canada to attend Queen’s College. In 1992 he changed his mind and moved to The United States to study business and physics at the University of
